During guided reading sessions this week we will be revising the learning strategies we have learnt this term. In writing lessons this week students are learning about the structure of a recount. We will be innovating a class recount of our trip to Scitech. Handwriting sessions this week will focus on the  curly caterpillar letters a, c, o & d.

Numeracy: The math focus for this week is number and algebra specifically focusing on partitioning numbers, place value and skip counting. This week we will also be revising fractions and days of the week.

Chemical Science: This week we will be looking at how objects change using chocolate and popcorn. Students will discuss how the physical appearance of these objects has changed and how this has occurred.

History: Students have now brought in their extra homework about old family photographs. We will be discussing these this week and completing an activity relating to families.
